For my "The Picture of Success" project, I have to chose one person who I believe is successful in life, then I have to write how I am going to be successful as well. So, who did little Gloomy decide to write about, I wonder? The sexiest man on earth, Gerard Arthur Way. Here is my two paragraphs. All resources are from the inter-web (Wikipedia mostly, and I googled him) Correct me if any information is untrue.

I believe that Gerard Arthur Way is a very successful man because of his many achievements in life. To begin, Gerard is a thirty one year old, half Irish (mother’s side), half Scottish (father’s side) male who was born in Summit, New Jersey on April 9, 1977 at 8:48 a.m. and raised in Belleville, New Jersey by his parents Donald and Donna Lee Way, and he currently resides in Los Angeles, California and is married to Lyn-Z, the bassist for the band Mindless Self Indulgence. Gerard has had many obstacles in his life that he had to overcome, yet that makes him a very successful person, for he overcame many of those obstacles. For example, he lived in a crime ridden neighborhood when he was younger, and he wasn’t allowed to go outside after a certain time due to the dangers and violence that he would be exposing himself to, so he spent most of his time locked up in his basement, and he created his own imaginary worlds in his head instead, which led to a later love for art work, and he also came to the conclusion that everyone he cared about would eventually die and that he would die alone, which gives him his current obsession with death. Another obstacle he encountered was in high school, for he was often ignored by his peers and considered a loner, and when he was fifteen, he was held up at gun point and put on the floor, execution style. Gerard is also very successful because of his level of education. After he graduated from Belleville High School in 1995, he attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City and graduated with a bachelor in Fine Arts in 1999. Gerard’s career all began in 2001. Mr. Way was working in the comic industry in New York when the September 11 attacks occurred. This disastrous event changed him dramatically. He said, “[censored] art! I’ve gotta get out of the basement. I’ve gotta see the world. I’ve gotta make a difference!” That year, Gerard started a band with Ray Toro, who played lead guitars and sang backing vocals, Mikey Way, who played bass guitar, and Matt Pelissier, who formerly played drums from 2001 through 2004; however, Matt was later replaced with Bob Bryar, who played drums and percussion as of 2004, and they were graced with Frank Iero’s presence in 2002, and he played rhythm guitars and sang backing vocals. They called themselves My Chemical Romance, and the song Skylines and Turnstiles was born, which was inspired by Way’s experience on 9/11. Gerard had to do many things in order for him to succeed in his career. For example, Gerard first began singing in the fourth grade when he played the part of Peter Pan in a school production of the play, and he stated that his maternal grandmother Elena Lee Rush had taught him to sing, paint, and perform, and that prepared him for his future career. He also started playing in bands when he was eleven years old, and that was good practice for him, for it helped him improve his skills. Gerard Way has also observed the efficacy in music, for it helped him deal with his long time battle against depression, alcoholism, and prescription drug and illegal drug abuse, which resulted in him having written and performed songs with personal meaning. His band mates have also pulled him out of depression twice, and when the band isn’t on tour, Gerard goes to see a therapist. Gerard also wanted to help people through his music and art, so he worked with Bert McCracken from the band The Used to release a cover of the Queen and David Bowie single Under Pressure on a Tsunami Relief Charity CD, and he also raised money through his art for causes such as Fight Against Breast Cancer. He also wants people to know that “…It's okay to be messed up, 'cause there's five dudes that are just as messed as you are." I believe Gerard Way is different from other people because he has overcome a copious amount of obstacles in his life, and he has also succeeded in helping a plethora amount of people, for he saved many of their lives by guiding them through problems with his music. This is why I believe Gerard Way is a very successful person.
I, Gloom Midori Hikkuko, am going to try to become successful in life as well. My long term goals are to attend and graduate college after I graduate high school, and then I will try to become a pharmacist or doctor. I plan on achieving my goals by studying and working hard in school. My dreams are different from my goals, for I want to attend an art school in Japan and become an artist. In order for me to achieve my dreams, I will have to practice and improve my art and save up money to go to art school. Being successful in life overall will require me to be happy with what I am doing, staying in school and attaining an education, acquiring a job that will pay enough for me to be able to support myself and to not rely on other people, and to be optimistic and think positively . This is what I m going to do in order for me to succeed in life.

My stupid life- Woo! I love the feeling of freedom, and the feeling of being able to do whatever you want and not getting in trouble for it. I love not having a boyfriend.
It's almost going to be 's birthday, and he wants a baby crow (which he will call Crow) and/or a baby husky (which he will call Shadow). His parents are considering the husky, so I will draw him a picture of his character Toxyn and Crow. Am I sweet or what? Good thing he doesn't go on DA anymore or else I ruined everything.
P.S. Ha! I am starting a story-that-will-be-turned-into-a-manga, and it was originally called Life on Tour, but as I changed the story, I changed the name as well, which is now Revenge. Inspired by My Chemical Romance's UMD for PSP (DVD as well) Life on the Murder Scene. Story will be up on DeviantArt and Quizilla soon, if I have time. All I can say now is that it's about a girl who drops out of high school to play in a band with four(?) guys that she hardly knows, and they treat her terrible after she does something against their wishes. Now something good happens to her, and the guys want revenge. Will the guys get their thirst for revenge quenched? Will the girl find out about their plan? Will the girl even try to stop them? Will I ever get a haircut? The answers to these questions will remain a mystery...for now....
